A story from our last night in San Fran:
"We were woken up around midnight by the hotel fire alarm and smoke on our floor level. After a but hasty exit and a 15 minute wait outside in our pj's (the weather here is very cool), we were allowed back to our rooms. We had a 5am wake up call for our flight to Washington at which time we found a note letting us know there was no fire danger but they were investigating the matter. The most important thing is that we are safe, but it has made for a great holiday story. "
